We begin potty training as soon as our puppies start to walk. We believe that early training leads to better results, helping our puppies quickly understand and adapt to the routine. This early start results in a smooth transition when they go to their new homes.

To initiate potty training, we create a dedicated area inside, where we use clean wood chips as a hygienic, easy-to-clean toilet solution. Puppies quickly learn to use this designated area, which fosters good habits from the outset and contributes to a cleaner environment for everyone involved.

As our puppies grow and are able to venture outside, we begin introducing them to outdoor potty training. By showing them how to use the garden, we help them understand that they can use nature as their bathroom, which is particularly useful for families who have outdoor spaces at home.

All our adult French Bulldogs are fully potty trained and are adept at using a doggy door. They serve as excellent role models for our puppies, demonstrating the right behaviors and habits. This additional ‘learning by example’ is beneficial in instilling good toilet habits in our puppies.
